Equipping

We believe that God is calling us to provide people with the tools they need to be successful in life.  The basic “tool” for success is a clear understanding of the promises and power presented in the word of God – the Bible.  We do not see the word of God as a book of rules, rather as a book of wisdom and instruction.  Everything we need, the answers to all of our questions and the source of our strength to overcome wrong thinking can be found in the words God spoke through various people and recorded in His word.  The foundation to being equipped is found in faith in Jesus Christ, God’s Son, who died for us to break the power of sin in our lives.  Through our small groups, people are discovering what they need to turn their thinking and behavior around to those things that help them face life’s challenges in victory.

Sending

Once a person is growing in this life of victory, we encourage them to make a difference in their world – what we refer to as living missionally.              We believe that Jesus Christ has sent us on a mission to “make disciples” (Matthew 28:18-20) – to help others understand the power that is theirs through faith in Christ, and the hope for tomorrow and eternity that can only be found through faith in Christ.  As we grow, God sends us out into our world to share the wonderful hope that we have in Christ.

We see each of us as God’s messengers of hope.

Transforming

Being sent with this transformation experience, we believe that God will use our lives to show others the transformational love of Jesus Christ.  We encourage our people to share their faith journey as they serve in God’s mission so others will not only experience God’s love through our lives, but also hear the promises of God as we share our faith journey with them.
